Child’s Path New Fence Creates Safe Space, More Playground Upgrades to Come

Thanks in part to an $18,000 grant from the Sample Foundation, the old, dilapidated fence at Child’s Path Santa Barbara has been replaced with a new one, ensuring a safe space for our children to learn and play. Now, we are moving forward with the next phase of updates that are needed for our center playgrounds.

A portion of the grant funds awarded by the Sample Foundation is being utilized for phase two of the improvements, which include repairing the flooring surfaces on our toddler playgrounds at Child’s Path Santa Barbara and Moorings locations. The process is underway and completion is expected in 2021.

Child’s Path operates four early learning centers for children ages two weeks to five years in Collier County. Nearly 75 percent of the 395 children we serve annually come from underserved or at-risk families, and they are provided financial scholarships from Child’s Path to attend its programs. Child’s Path is on a mission to make sure every child has opportunity to receive high-quality, affordable early education that will set them on a brighter path to the future.
