Child’s Path receives $20,000 grant from the League Club

The Community Trust Fund of The League Club, Inc., has awarded Child’s Path a $20,000 grant for supplies to support its Bright Paths Resiliency Program, which provides curriculum, tools, and teacher training to help at-risk children overcome trauma and challenges, so they are able to focus on learning, growth, and development. Child’s Path was one of 27 local nonprofits to receive grants from The League Club on Friday, totaling more than $429,000.

“We are so appreciative of the financial support for our resiliency program from the League Club,” Child’s Path CEO Heather Singleton said. “The impacts of Covid-19 have exacerbated trauma and adverse experiences for children. This critical support of our resiliency program will help us provide the tools to identify and address stressors in children and create a safe, productive, and healthy learning environment that promotes child resiliency.”
