Child’s Path receives $35,000 grant from Collier Community Foundation

Collier Community Foundation has awarded Child’s Path a $35,000 grant for nutritious take-home snacks for children attending Child’s Path Moorings (Naples) and Child’s Path Santa Barbara (Golden Gate) centers.

“We are so grateful for the financial support from the Collier Community Foundation to assist our families in providing the proper nutrition for their children during these challenging times,” Child’s Path CEO Heather Singleton said.“Between the lingering financial impacts of the pandemic and inflation hitting 40-year highs, many children go without a healthy dinner.”

By providing nutrient-dense take-home snacks that are fresh and free of any artificial ingredients, it helps to ensure our children can receive proper nutrition to supplement their dinner.

The grant was provided by the Collier Community Foundation’s 2022 Food & Hunger Grant cycle, which is part of the Your passion. Your Collier. campaign to address needs in mental health & substance abuse, housing & hunger, education & employment, seniors & veterans, environment & accessibility, and crisis & disaster relief.
